Description 

The BPI 5-Drum Disc Mower is available with conditioner and is constructed using steel and the best gear components 

Cutting discs and blades are easily accessible to reveal the inner workings of each disc assembly 

Disc Mower is specifically engineered to meet and exceed the rigorous demands 

The machines are all fitted with the ?non-stop? cutter bar breakaway, that ensures cutting without stopping the machine and with no need to go backwards when encountering an obstruction 

It is automatically re-armed without assistance 

Heavy thickness (800 grams per m?) canvas helps prevent loss of cut forage especially on uneven terrain, it leads to an improved yield and maximum tonnage per hectare 

The 5-Drum Mowers come standard with 15-inch discs and 4-inch long blades 

The free-swinging blades create a precision cutting when reaching rotation speeds of 3 200rpm 

Dual-suspension springs on either side of the cutter bar create a smooth motion 

A single acting cylinder allows the operator to control the Mower?s position from the seat of the tractor 

Transportation is effortless. While in transport mode, the manual locking mechanism activates while enroute to and from the field 

The mower / conditioner combination shortens the natural fermentation and drying process of the mowed forage and Lucerne 

By using a conditioner, the waxy coating of the forage is rubbed off and a loose, airy swath is deposited, saving having to undertake an additional working process with the crop 

Reducing disintegration losses and forage contamination to a minimum
